A series of illustrated educational flyers created for PAW Ireland, in cooperation with Wildlife Rescue Ireland (WRI), addressing wildlife crime and the legal protection of native Irish animals.
The flyers cover a range of species and wildlife crime issues, including the protection of birds, bats, badgers, deer, hares and other wild animals under Irish law. Alongside information about the legislation protecting wildlife, the materials provide practical guidance on recognising potential wildlife crimes and reporting them.
The project combines wildlife illustration, information design and clear visual communication to make an important and sometimes complex subject accessible to a broad audience. The illustrations draw attention to individual species while giving the educational information a strong, approachable visual identity.
The flyers were designed to support wildlife crime awareness and encourage members of the public to understand the protections afforded to Ireland's wildlife and know what to do when they encounter suspected wildlife crime.
